Daddy and I decided to make a trip to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Nico is only 2 months and we wanted him to have a good time. Since he is a baby all he might so is sleep and eat. I did not want him in the car seat the whole time and it was too hot for a baby carrier. So I told daddy "Let's make Nico a crib!".

I was greeted with a slightly confused look but once the ideas were on the table, Daddy was on the crazy mommy train. So we did just that, we made a portable crib. We bought a wagon with a canopy from Amazon which cost $89 dollars. (make sure they have rubber, not plastic tires). Not only did it come super fast, But It also came in a big box which we proceeded to use as a fort for a few months.

That is another project for another day. Once the wagon was here daddy decided to cut a memory foam sheet to place inside. I wrapped it in swaddler brand blankets to keep the baby Fresh. To make it comfortable we cut a thick memory foam sheet to fit inside and wrapped it in the thin swaddler blankets. We hit the trails and this wagon was perfect, Nico slept most of the time but when he was up we carried him, we placed our bags in the wagon to give us a break. When it got too sunny we covered the sides with the extra swaddler blankets. Nico had the best time in the Grand Canyon!
